I'm back. Been very busy for a while.
Back to my black swan painting. Started on some details to the water.
Still working on how I want the entire painting to look.

I don't know why I'm doing a painting of a dumpster, but oh well it done.

Night Raccoon

After many, many attempts of trying to paint this raccoon,
I think I've captured how it is supposed to look. Somehow,
it has been a long struggle for me.

This is a paiting of a raccoon I saw late at night taking out the trash.
You see wildlife like this once in a while and it always saddens me.
Their habitat is getting smaller and smaller, and this is the result of
them trying to survive, digging thru our trash.

This painting is based on a picture I took on the freeway somewhere in Southern California.
Just loved the dog sticking his head out enjoying the drive going who knows where with his family.
He just had this expression on him that is hard to explain but hoped to capture in the painting.

New painting started. Haven't abandond the swan painting,
but it gonna be put aside for a bit.
